Hey all you Gals out there who love to be outdoors and helping a great cause. Aura Home (the first and only home to be for Homeless Women Veterans in Western North Carolina) is hosting a fun day of clearing brush debris out of a creek in lovely North Hendersonville
Saturday, April 1st from 9 am – 3 pm
Address: 1744 Meadowbrook Terrace, Hendersonville
Help us free up the creek that borders the property and leads to the duck pond preserve, while making new friends, eating great food and helping a great cause! We need women with gloves, pruners, loppers and trucks. We also need women with big hearts, even without all those accessories! We will work from 9-3 with an hour off for the most amazing potluck ever!!! Reminder that there is no electricity or refrigeration so bring your coolers and serving spoons.
We will provide plates, utensils, cups, water, sodas, ice and iced tea. Bring gloves, your potluck, serving spoon, lawn chairs and sun screen. Please do not bring pets…except hungry goats… If you have an open truck and can help us haul all this off to the dump a mile away…even better.
Depending on the number of folks that come out to help we also may accomplish some much needed clean-up inside the building.
