Waynesville, N.C. (WLOS) — It was a group effort Saturday to help a local veteran for the holidays. Aura Home Women Vets helped organize a move for a veteran who lost everything in a fire.
Aura Home provided a complete set of furniture and a place to live to a woman vet who lost everything in a house fire one week before Christmas.
Volunteers included: Kay, Diane, Alyce, Betty and Eleanor on the load in (pictured) and Ricky, Frank, Lewis, Rickie, Pat and Vickie joined in the load out at the new home.
